This intermediate level position is responsible for identifying and/or supporting improvements to new or existing business processes and customer experiences and ensures seamless adoption of change across all user groups.

Manages multiple operational, tactical and medium to larger projects simultaneously with some supervision from management or higher level Process Consultants. Reviews business processes and identifies internal and external customer needs by researching competitor and industry trends and understanding business area goals. Partners with higher-level business professionals, analysts and other technical resources to assist in the design and development of business requirements for new or existing small to medium scale business processes and supporting technologies. Contributes to project plans and/or documentation (e.g. timelines, initiation document, analysis needs, work breakdown structure, estimates, implementation and communication plans, risk assessment, etc.). Ensures the successful adoption of changes by assisting with the coordination of communication, implementation, and support of process improvements, new technologies or business processes. Assists business partners with identifying downstream implications of a change by anticipating obstacles and/or unintended consequences. Leverages concepts such as prototyping, demonstrations, focus groups, pilots, workflows, surveys, risk assessments and customer scenarios to ensure the successful creation and adoption of process and technology improvements. Communicates regularly with the project team to deliver project updates and gather input to address issues and keep the project on track. Tracks and reports on the performance of the solution once elevated. This may include reporting, participating in the post implementation review and creating and executing a post-implementation plan. Assists with the ongoing support of processes and tools, including maintenance, updates, training, quality assurance and serving as a resource for resolving operational issues.
Knowledge, skills/abilities listed below are the requirements needed to be proficient in the job. Knowledge of internally developed processes/systems, user functionality and various system environments. Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes. Understands business area processes and procedures and uses process mapping tools for current and new systems solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others at all levels within the organization, including senior management and executives. Ability to conduct formal presentations. Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, follow up on open items, and attention to detail. Good negotiation skills with the ability to work with others to reach mutually agreed upon solutions.
Education and/or experiences listed below are the minimum requirements for job entry. Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field of study (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Management, Sales, HR) and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a comparable field/role (e.g., process design/redesign, technical). In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of experience in a process design/redesign or technical role.
