Responsible for ExecutingAcquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, cross-selling My BJs Perks.Also responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick ups, andgeneral customer services inquiries. Provides excellent andefficient member service.
MajorTasks, Responsibilities, and KeyAccountabilitiesDrivesand promotes the BJs value proposition regardingacquisition, retention, perks, and the Memberexperience.Converts potential members byactively and effectively pitching all membership programs inaccordance with company policies andpractices.Exhibits clear understanding of allBJs Membership options, and Co-Brand creditcard.Delivers superior customer service toMembers by serving as a first line point-of-contact regardingmembership, credit card applications, general questions, issues,merchandise returns, exchanges, product look up, andpick-ups.Follows tax exempt/resale membershippolicies in regard to the retention processes andprocedures,including monitoring membership renewals andtax-exempt/resale status.Resolves Memberconcerns in a courteous and timely manner. Escalates issues to MSSand MOD when necessary.Processes BOPIC (BuyOnline and Pick Up In Club) orders formembers.Maintains all club policies andprocedures.Performs other duties as assigned,including working in other departments asneeded.
QualificationsPriorfront line/customer service or sales experiencepreferred.Results driven with proven successin goal achievementBasic math skillspreferred.Computer proficiencypreferred.
EnvironmentalJob ConditionsMost ofthe time is spent frequently remaining in a stationary position onhard surfaces. There may be a need to occasionally position oneselfto examine or scan merchandise, including bending, handling,pulling, reaching, and/orstooping.Occasionally requires lifting objectsup to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/orawkward objects more than 30 pounds withassistance.Located in a comfortable indoorarea with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loudnoises. There may be occasional contact with cleaningagents.
